if i was moving out, i would have made sure that my boards were taken care of, maybe packing them first.
im sure if you go in there having done a bit of research on what trucks, bearings etc you want and what brands, they will be fine on ya. dont do what my plastic skater friends do and just go for the pretty coloured stuff, only to find out later its all wrong and you end up looking like a c**t.
I really wanted an SG deck, but i haven't been skating* since i broke my arm about 15 years ago, and thought it a bad idea to get one in the end . Plus i'm exactly the same, and wouldn't know what trucks or wheels to put on it to make it look 'cool for the kids' even if it was just to hang on my wall . But then again, how uncool would that be to hang a shiny new unscratched and unshagged out board on your wall? And i think i'd look even more uncool if i started skating* again at 37!!!! .
Good idea!!! I think someone should warn Cardiff that SGUK are coming, and that they need to cover everything in sight with easy wipe clean plastic sheets.
Yaysey Cardiff!
Man, i wish i had one of those nifty Macs but i only have this pc that has been loaned to me until the summer. So i have to make do and try not to bugger it up too much before i give it back. Let's just say that if computers were books, i've read the intro then skipped to the last page
LOl, funny you should mention your new
SG gear. I just ordered 100 stickers, posters, and 2 sets
of Pins. LOL I'm gonna take the stickers and put them all over
the city. And of course all over my stuff too. So enjoy
your skateboard. Just don't make a food of yourself by
trying to do a cool trick in front of some hot girls and in the end just falling flat on your face.
Would that be :cough: free :cough: production by any chance?
Seriously though, what software do you use? We have a basic knowledge of Sonar, so i dunno if we could maybe send our next demo to you as .cwb bundles?
Cheers mate!
I'll send up a cd with all the individual tracks as soon as we've recorded it, but we're concentrating on getting our set together at the moment as we want to get out gigging this summer. So we won't be recording anything new probably until the Autumn. It'll take us that long to work out how to use my new Fostex VF160 anyway!!!!
But i shall keep you in mind as soon as it's done! Cheers
