Yep, actually I wrote an article for the newswire about Crick, but I submitted it to Technology, so I've got to wait for Shalome or Gwendolyn to decide whether they want it published. It's a loss for science - while Watson may have had the bravado, Crick was much more of a gentleman, and a genius too. I made it a point to include Rosalind Franklin in as co-discoverer of DNA - so that will probably get SG a lawsuit from Watson and Crick's estate.
My radio show is just two hours of progressive music, Thursdays from 8-10am. Not too many airbreaks, but some damn fine rock and roll, if I do say so myself. And it's all brought to you by one of the last real college radio stations in the nation.
If you're in NY, you've probably heard WFMU... it's kind of like that, but I think we probably have fewer specialty shows.
The Twilight Zone dvds are cool. I spent my last month's rent money to get collection two, three, and five (already had the first one).
But I hate how they're grouped by theme instead of chronology. There are a lot of discs that have very similar episodes, as ideas were recycled over the years.
For example, there's one disc in the second collection about time travel. The first episode is about a WWI pilot who arrives in the 1960's, does some stuff, then goes back to his time. The second episode is about a pioneer from the 1800's who arrives in the 1960's, does some stuff, then goes back to his time. I forget where the character from the third episode was from, but, he, too, arrives in the 1960's, does some stuff, then goes back to his time.
Unfortunately I do Not. I am getting my 16mm and 35mm short's on dvd by the middle of september. I would be more than thrilled to meet with you though. I am desperately seekign work
