Hey, absolutely no reason to apologize for not showing up. You've got to have priorities, and it sounds like things are really picking up for you, that's great.

Anyway, it was a lot of fun, so you should try to stop by if you ever get the chance.

As for the waning social life - you've gotta do what you've gotta do, and you figure you'll have plenty of time to socialize when you're a multimillionaire director. biggrin
galvagin:
Sounds like a full plate - best of luck with all that.
fentopal:
A full schedule is nothing to apologize for. At least you're up to something that you love.
legionnaire:
Thanks for the link, that's a really cool website. Tons of really neat pictures. Microscopy can be really fun sometimes.

Sorry to hear you're busy, but I hope the projects are going well.
legionnaire:
Make that living! Hope things are still going well for you, I imagine the movie biz is keeping you busy. Still, it's good to see you pop up every now and then on the CE boards. biggrin
thefuckoffkid:
Thankees. Nice to know people are paying attention wink
legionnaire:
Thanks, I'm glad you've liked the articles so far.

That one you sent me from New Scientist is awesome - that's a great magazine, a bit more accessible to the layman than Scientific American, and often gets interesting submissions.

As for that article - I wonder if there could be bose-einstein condensates inside the crystal with those sorts of pressure? That would be really wild - a quantum white dwarf, like a gigantic super-atom.
