I don't know why we (girls) are like that. I know that not all of us are like that. I have my moments. I always pick the wrong ones. Always. You just hope so much that it will be different. I hate stupid people too but we just have to accept the fact that the world is populated with them. You are pretty damn cool so no more Poetik bashing. There is a point. Really there is. So many wonderful things in life to experience and so many great people to meet and share in their lives with. The little things are great too. Like a beautiful day or a great song. Hold on to the little things my friend. That's the point. We are our own worst enemies. We see things in ourselves that no one else does and they are usually pretty imaginary. BIG HUGS FOR YOU.

I think the reason a lot of girls choose the scumbags (or at least I know I do) is because they know exactly what to do and say to get the girl immediately. They put on this fake act and are mister perfect until they get you. Once they've hooked you, thats when they turn into Senor Scumbag. The nice guys always only seem kind of interested at first. Thats just my experience though.

I totally agree with you on the shallow thing though. I met this guy the other night that I ended up talking to for hours and I had a really great time with him, he was funny, interesting, and really smart but he was heavier. So I heard from a friend that one of the girls who came out with us was like "Why is she talking to that fat guy? He's gross!" or something along those lines. Nevermind that he was a total sweetheart and had the greatest stories to tell and was explaining motorcycles to me. I try to separate myself from people who refuse to give people a chance based on outward characteristics.

Yeah, I get that way too. But other than the "sick of myself" part, I kinda cherish the others. I mean, my sarcastic ass wouldn't be HALF as funny without 'em in my life. And they certainly help me in my writing...

senor scumbag...i like that well, i'm no expert, but i think all of us have to stop judging people as much as we do. i know i do it without even thinking about it. i catch myself sometimes and I'm like, wtf are you doing? you don't even know that person. bah...life can be frustrating, that's for sure!
