dont get me wrong,Sydney gig was great!! however the Melbourne one pretty much sucked.
I guess it made me have a another look at the whole reunion thing.....ive always been a tad cynical/sceptical about the concept whoever does it...Stooges,Sex Pistols(no i didnt go).....ive kinda always believed that the past is past,sure we had a great time back then and i have no regrets and i am proud of the music we created blah blah but that was then, this is now y'know.
Im not unhappy about it at all and if anything its given me new lease on life to get a new band going.

fair enough....i see your point and it is the Stooges afterall, and i believe its the original line up except for the bass which is being covered by Mike Watt who is almost worth the price himself.I guess for me the Stooges didnt have a direct impact,i acknowlege and appreciate their place in the history of rock & roll and the vitality of their recordings but the ticket price of BDO doesnt justify it for me and i dont think they are doing a seperate gig.Me? ill be going to see Sleater Kinney,i fucking love those girls.
hmmmm just thinking if there is anyone i would go see if they reformed.I did go see Wire a couple of years ago and i would go see Gang of Four....so yeah its not "rule" for me per se.....just dont expect to see a Box of Fish or Fester Bros. reunion show hahaha!!

Sorry about the delayed response, been super buys with the hew job, plumbing ect. Plumbing got all sorted out, although my head felt like it needed a few new pipes after Wednesday night.
