Its friday. Thank goodness.

Today I started knitting a baby hat, a friend of mine is 4 months pregnant and I want to have a stack load of knitted goodies ready for her when she pops! Thing is, she not gonna find out the sex, and she's one of those people who wouldn't put a boy in pink or a girl in blue. So i'm sticking to white, although I might get some light green wool and make a pixy outfit.

Question:

Does it matter what colours you put a baby in, and is it ok to dress a baby/young child in, well, fancy dress clothes?

It doesn't really matter but I expect parents not to like it when someone says "oh isn't she cute" to their pink wearing boy, or vice versa.

Yellow and green might be safe.

naw it shouldn't matter what you dress a child in...however society deems certain things and expects that we will all conform. Even more reason to do whatever you damn well want huh biggrin
