DOOM 3 has lived up to it's expectations. Those expectations being this game benefits hardware manufacturers more than anything. My system has been due for an upgrade for quite sometime, but this game is just ridiculously power hungry. Don't get me wrong the graphics are super sweet and the gameplay is fucking awesome.
This little snippet comes after quite a scare this past weekend. My system locked up after being online all night, so I rebooted - no big deal. Halfway through loading 2000 I get a fucking BSOD INACESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE error. I shutdown and turn the system back on. INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE again, right after the 2000 splash screen.
FUCK
So I try Last Know Good Config - same thing. I try Safe Mode - same there, too.
At this point I started to get a little pissed and shut the fucking machine off. A friend called me, so I tagged along on a few of his Sunday side-jobs. That night I pulled the posessed 60GB drive and installed 2000 on a 40GB. Reconnected the 60 and ran WDDIAG - everything checked out okay. . . . wtf?!
Oh well. I'm due for another fucking upgrade. I can't stand to loose data of any kind, and I really hate fucking reinstalling Windows 2000.

Yeah, I agree on the Kane thing. If not him then who, right? You know what i'd really like to see with Kane before his day is done, one more good run first with 'Taker and then against him, the last time they did that it was one of my favorite fueds of all time.
