Aw gosh darn it, I just watched Elf and blubbed like a big baby! Christmas films make me bawl, all of them have pretty much the same effect (as does the statue of liberty bit in Ghostbusters 2).
Warm mince pies, brandy cream, oranges and mulled wine went down a treat and I'm just about to cook a late tea, roast lamb with rosemary and plum gravy.
I have submitted to the winter and I'm damn sure going to make the most of it! Eating and staying in to be entertained.
I do love Christmas, I love birthdays too. My birthday is all about personal development, making plans, setting goals and that sort of thing.
Christmas is all about realising how lucky I am and gathering those I love together.........and feeding them generally.
I have a lot of blessings to count and that makes me all warm inside.

I'm a big fan of Christmas too, I put my tree up yesterday and really getting into the Christmas spirit. I know I'll have to watch Muppet's Christmas Carol before too long.
