i've also found that saying things that would generally get me slapped by a fellow native english speaker end up being great "pickup lines" when engaged in conversation with someone whose english is not their mother tongue.

it all started when some silly friends convinced me to go up to the beautiful girl and say (i had no idea what it meant):

"onko sinulla repavat kivekset?"
"do you have low hung testicles?"

and to their dismay actually ended up spending most of the rest of the night talking to her.

good i'm relieved.
