Wow eeek That would be fucking cool!

And if I'm not dead from this cold or whatever it is that I have right now, I'm down for hanging with you guys at DP. Give me a call (if you don't have my number, let me know).
bankerboy:
That does sound like a cool theme for a casino! I may be heading out of town Saturday afternoon, otherwise Devil's Point sounds about my speed.
liante:
Surreal. I never have any good dreams. Last night I dreamt that I was driving along without any idea where I was going. It wasn't very dramatic. Just a desert landscape by night. Then I woke up and had to go pick up a couple of sandblasted wheel cores for this WWII-era Jeep my dad's putting together in the garage. Fabulous day. Next up: resume spamming!

Yee-haw.

I registered Liante as my username on rpg.net, although I'm probably going to be lurking for a while to get a better feel for the community before I try posting much. wink

(And having work pirated on Limewire is perversely cool. I wish people liked my stuff enough to steal it. I will, however, never download stuff from those networks because they're all riddled with viruses and other nasty things these days.)
liante:
YES!!! BEST TESTIMONIAL EVAR!!!

My dungeons exist solely for my amusement. Also I do them in pencil on graph paper and my scanner is teh not-so-good. So, alas, that day will be a long time in coming.

One of these days (well, okay, one of these weekends) I will sit down and write a Side Trek-type mini-module and post that somewhere. Then you can steal it for the, oh, 10 cents or so it might net on a PDF 'publication.' wink
hypnogogic:
And just when would you be going to Devil's point?
hypnogogic:
tonight?
hypnogogic:
Sweet. I have my daughter Saturday night, but i might be able to hook up a babysitter. I know Jesse would love to hang out with you guys again...as would i.

Saturday is an SG night there, right?
hypnogogic:
last time we got to hang out with germany. She is so unbelievably sweet....and hot. She is only 5 feet tall!
hypnogogic:
Yeah, i have a huge crush on her too love
She kissed Jesse a few times when we were there.....sometimes i really wish i was a girl. Then i could really get away with anything.
boxofficepoison:
I'd be down for devils point if it wasn't for the whole being broke thing.
boxofficepoison:
Oh yeah, I know all about the Devils point, until I get my pay check next week I've got about 18 bucks to live on. I'll send you my digits. give me a call if you're going.
hypnogogic:
blush
Yeah, somehow i manage to get away with ALOT!

I keep telling myself it's because i look totally harmless....i don't know, it's weird. It really helps having a very open minded girl biggrin
hypnogogic:
NO SHIT!

I used to laugh when people would say that, but damn if working at night clubs didnt get me all kinds of attention, it was weird. Im just not used to that.
hypnogogic:
"gentlemen, i give you corn"

"oh no, not again!"

I cannot go to sleep without watching Aquateen hunger force....how sad is that?

I'm having great fun reading through all the threads about horrible GMs, bonehead players, least spectacular PC deaths and so forth over at rpg.net... but I need to bug you for a translation note, as my Geekerese skills are failing me:

What's a "Mary Sue"? I've seen this term pop up a couple of times now, and the context just isn't giving me enough to figure out the meaning.
liante:
surreal

Woah.

I've gotta say, I have actually had the amazing good luck to never encounter a Mary Sue in my roleplaying career. Well, apart from one shortlived GM's talking ferret. He didn't really last long in our campaign.

"Little Ellen dies of the croup because her mother has neglected to get her shoe repaired" sounds like a pretty good end for one, though.
