Long forgotten nights by many
Yet for us, a Big Band locked in time
Such as words can barely describe
A touch, a whisper, a feeling
A reality that seems like a dream
Yet as hot as hell, now a cold truth
Time ended that night, and now ends us
Still that night, her touch, her lips
That feeling in my gut, that is immortal
Even when we are both long gone
The Earth bares witness to us
All bare witness to us, to our fury
Even the gentlest of caresses burns
Burns down to my very aching soul
Cursed time slowly taking it all away
But my memory remains fixed and vivid
Even as the details slowly fade to shadows
Her hand print is engraved on my skin
As if it were carved into my very bone
Her breath is forever my sustaining air
Her taste the flavor in my mouth as I wake
Wake from the dreams she will always inhabit
Her passion, burns inside of me every night
Making my mind blank, and my insides water
The soft scars of her nail marks come alive
As if they were freshly made on my skin
The feel of her soft tongue and her teeth
I still feel it exploring every inch of me
She may be gone, but she will never die
She lives inside my every cell
In my very nerves that ache for her
And have her ghost every night
The ghost that shares my head
The ghost that warms my bed
All for her.
You created an amazing little world in one page. Really amazing.
