Well I went back to the pool today. I totally suck. My friend said you want to sit in the hot tub and in a heartbeat I was done swimming laps. I only swam 12. I need to get back on the wagon.
We sat and talked about her husband being the 2nd on the scene last night of an accident with a semi and a minivan. The semit t-boned it. He thought everyone was about dead. The driver had a thready pulse. He said they were old people he thought but couldn't really tell as they were slumped over and all bloody. Then the ambulance came. Very sad. I came home and looked on the internet it was a 13 year old girl and her mother. The child died. I wish I wouldn't have looked that up. It is very sad to think of an entire families loss and at the holidays. Very sad.
I have talked with both my kids and their dad about this drinking and driving issue. As you all know it has been interesting. I have decided to not let them see him for awhile. Everyone is in agreement that this is the best thing. He is back attending AA meetings. He went to his first last night. He has a court date on December 21st. Who knows what will happen. But at this time I am keeping my kids with me in our healthy home and not being contested about it. Thank God but still life is so complicated.
Happy day before Thanksgiving. I hope the store still has what you need tonight. I need the stuff for stuffing. I don't really even like stuffing though. Oh yes but my cousin does.

Just to give you a happy ending accident:
Last week an 18year old woman was driveing home from class and
a friends house. She text her father that she was leaving for home.
She is very good on the notifying parents of arriving and leaveing where she
says that she is going. But never gets home. For 2 days there is a scearch for her.
Finally a cop notices a small skid mark on the edge of the pavement and sees
a broken off tree. Climbs down into a gully and finds the SUV. The Girl is alive.
She was pinned into the car by the dashboard. Broken thighs, wrist and jaw.
She swerved to avoid a deer in the road.
She couldn't find either of the phones that she had with her. The car went across
the road and off of the other side. Which made finding it that much harder.
