I'm back. It was short lived. Had to wait until payday. OH how nice it is though. I paid $29 for the year. Nice and cheap.

I have been super busy. I'm exhausted actually. I am trying to catch up on sleep. Do you ever?
My son turned 14 about a week ago. We got him a BMX bike. Poor kid jumped on it and took off around the corner and the chain broke. He ate it all over the street. It sucked. They took it back and had the chain replaced. I am still in a bit of shock that a $300 bikes chain would break first ride. Whatever though. He is happy.
The other son will be 10 on the 14th. He is sick now. He has been home for 3 days from school. Yesterday he cried because he had such a bad headache. Heartbreaking.
I can't believe how old my kids are.
I'm still adjusting to life in Christianville.
Rainey went to see Paranormal Activity for his birthday. None of the teenagers here are aloud to see Rated R movies. Finally he found one kids that could go. The mom called in the morning asking what they went to see and hoping that they didn't go to see that. Great! Then she informed me that he isn't aloud to see Rated R movies either. Come to find out his dad is the minister at the biggest church in town. WTF?? I am so confused here. Aren't scary movies made for teenagers?
I missed Halloween due to a birth. So I took the kids to Fright Town on the day of the dead. It was scary and fun.
My kids have recently informed me that we don't fit in here. Oak said we aren't like other families here. Rainey proceeded to tell me that I am weird and he is glad otherwise they wouldn't be who that are. So in a off color sort of way I got a compliment from me kids. WE really don't fit in here.

Being voted of off the 'island of the mainstream' is a good thing.
My daughter's mother is born again; so she insisted on haveing A. over this
past weekend. Poor kid didn't get to go Trick or Treating, and passed out candy
at home with no costume. A. was looking forword to going to the party I
went to.
They're made for teeenagers, but not for helicopter parents.
Sleep is a luxury. Grab it when you can.
