The reality is there are many higher educated people out of work as well. If everyone goes to college who will work at the mall. OH that's right, it will take a PhD to sell the goods to stimulate the economy.

Critics are saying it is interesting as there are schools that are cutting back days, programs, classes, etc... It's the do good with what's left message.
ahh, the joys of the economy, right now, I have 2 Masters degrees and I'm working part-time at Wegmans Food Markets. I've spent the past 2 1/2 years searching for a job as a school counselor throughout New York State, to be told "You interview extremely well, but we went with someone who has more job experience than you."
I've applied for jobs that require a Bachelors degree or less, and heard no call backs.
I'm pretty smart and went to school, but nothing ever came of what I studied. That's another topic though...lol.
I'm not sure I get your mall comment? I dunno I made pretty good money with the right companies working at a mall. You think people at the mall want to compete for jobs with people that have PHD's?
With the laging of US education [as reported] compaired with other
countries, the kids need to be self-motivated to study.

They said on CNN that there are schools in Arizona with up to 50 students in a class, I don't know how a teacher could know the names of the students let alone how they are doing with 50 kids in a class. I find it interesting that Obama is asking students not to let America down but it seems as though the American educational system is letting the students down.
