I was looking at buying a Steve Digiorgio edition double neck fretless. Then I realized how damn heavy it was, and I would probably play it less than a handful of times
What year is yours? Annd yeah. I wouldnt do it if itll void your warranty. If you have the older ones it runs fine. If properly made it actually lubes as it's bring used and delays engine wear. The only big thing is some hoses have to be replaced but that's about it. It just has to do with quality. The brand spanking new ones can't handle any of the impurities. I have an 05 with a pump duece. Can run it pretty well. The previous engine styles from 00-04 are the best for running it methinks. Very hardy engines.
mines the older model from right before the body style changeover.. and if you know basic car maintenance its pretty cheap.. their labor rates kill.
nah.. mine needed done because my ex tried to drive the bugger like a race car.. so yeah. they wore down faster. plus the roads here are just god awful terrible and are filled with potholes.
if she drove it like a nut and did heavy stop and go brake work theres a chance she could have overheated and warped them.. especially if she had the steel wheels with hubcaps.
lol.. i also have over 90000 miles on my car.. so it yeah.
