yes, being cruel for no reason does suck. i suppose my cruelty does have reasoning behind it; well, it wasn't cruelty at all. just being sort of...not sweet. i was just mean to him, and for all the wrong reasons.

i totally understand the career thing really taking a beating on ones social life....i am constantly wanting to escape to somewhere strange and tropical.
TiVo is a digital recording device. It's the best thing that ever happened to my TV life. LOL. I originally bought it while I was in law school and I had a really fukked up schedule where I ended up taking day and night courses. So I was stuck in school and working in between all day. I would get home around 11 pm or so most nights. Anyway, I was sick of missing Friends and I couldn't be arsed to set up a VCR so my bf suggested I buy a TiVo. Being the impulsive shopper that I am I immediately went out to buy one. I haven't missed Friends or any other show that I love ever since. It may be silly but it makes me happy.
So you don't have a girlfriend? That's a surprise. But you are young anyway. At your age I was still a virgin. Now I'm in a 6 year relationship and I'm at the point where I long for the days when I was single again. Take advantage of the fact that you are still single. I'm not trying to sound like a cynic but being single has its advantages too.
