blah blah blah

hey, dia, you reading this? knock twice if you are.
knock once if you're not.

i still worry about you. i kind of feel like you spend a lot of time online as a result of being sad about something. but maybe i'm just jumping to conclusions. obviously you're a poet and writer and communicating online makes sense for you i'm guessing....

Happy Birthday!!
So many answers to your questions.
- You can join SG for a year for only $65, a bargain huh?
- You can easily meet SGs (as long as you're not scarywink), just come out to one of our events. I've met 5 SGs here in LA and about 14 in PDX. More and more SGs are moving here to LA, its becoming an SG's second home. You should come to Disneyland with us. Just look out for SGLA events in the hookup section
- The question is 42

p.s. I saw you play at the Knitting Factory a while ago. I cant remember for whom you opened. Probably Peaches, no? It was fun fun!

oh, i should go to bed. but i just discovered bailey and i can't seem to get enough. you rule, bailey.

dia:
I'm reading it and thinking you sound like Hunter S. Thompson right now... but maybe I think everyone sounds like Hunter S. or something? I'm reading it because I read every journal I can get my hands on, due to insatiable curiousity, and I'm halfassedly editing photos for the next "controversial" set or whatever... the Hello Kitty set. I need to hurry hurry hurry and now poof I am gone!

I can't go. I've been here all day.
otto_pilate:
nah,
i aint no hunter s. thompson. i wish.
but i can still look like him via johnny depp, right?
i remember the halloween after fear and loathing came out there was a guy who was a perfect hunter s. i mean, it was scary. and he was totally in character the whole night. never let up. i bet he was totally fried.

dia, you're too cool. i worry about you when i read your journal entries. you just sound so down. couldn't be that bad could it?

controversial hello kitty set?? huh?

dia:
Yes I want the footage, of course I do, duh! And should she ever play down in SF, I will be the first person at the door... work or otherwise (my boss is a musician and I really ground into him today about meeting someone he liked, like Rush... and then he got it, so that was nice of him).

How did the show go?

the show went pretty well seems like. i usually go into my own little world when i'm on stage but from what i could tell there was a good amount of people and when songs finished i felt good vibrations from the crowd - and cheers whenever my bandmate did something crazy. we ended up going on later than intended cos of some stupid wine tasting thing that went on too long. then there was this dj who was on stage (WHY???) so we couldn't set up during the wine tasting - so as soon as they finished they rushed us to get on set up and start. not very cool. sound guy was a total jerk, just standing staring at me as i'm plugging in shit. started yelling at me. never had such a blatantly asshole-ish sound guy before. anyway it worked out favorably since no one missed us since we went on later. i was just worried about lydia starting later. i guess she actually saw us and liked us and was even dancing a little. that right there is enough for me. plus we sold a good amount of cd's and lp's so that's always a good sign.

lydia is a force of nature. she's like this angry fiery ball of bitter beauty. she's big and bold and back to kick some ass. i'll get you video. hopefully it won't be too shakey.

anyway, hopefully we'll do some shows up north in SF and seattle and hopefully portland too. talk is of doing this maybe early next year though since they want to finish recording lydia's album. i want to finish our album too.

rock n roll!

just spent way too long on my stupid photo. i hope one of the SG's will notice it and tell me how cool it looks. if anyone here saw damo suzuki at the knitting factory i was in the band (guy playing the theremin).
i found out about this site when on tour with damo up in portland (i saw a poster in ozone uk)...
