hey all...
I got killed twice this past week... I've never been killed before, then bam! Twice in one week... Monday I got my guts eaten out by a hot zombie godess, and saturday my assasination attempt went awry and I got stabbed with my own knife. Yeeesh, I really should be careful who I hang out with, eh?
So I did more footage on the zombie movie last monday... I have less than 2 weeks before I go away from montreal forever, and my scenes are only half done... silly independant directors with their other jobs and stuff. Last time we shot on a creepy little dirt road by some truck 'garage/graveyard' from midnight til 5am in the mosquito and moth clouds. I was quite impressed with the way my tummy "looked" like it had been ripped open and my guts "looked" like they were being chewed on. Very bloody in a raspberry flavoured kinda way.
Saturday, I did a bit part in a bigger budgeted flick. I don't know what it's going to be called, but I got to be the scantily clad assasin who's car "breaks down" and needs a hand. I'm no match for our hero though and, well, get killed. We filmed that on a dirt road in the middle of the hot sunny summer day with only cars to shelter us from the glaring cancer rays. Everyone had a burn somewhere, but no two people had the same one.... ooooh.
These are the only two movies I've really ever been in, but they were fun despite the little inconveiniences... and all the people I worked with were really cool... I hate when I meet really awesome folks right before I move away... ah well, it gives me more hope for humanity...
I've got my plane ticket finally, so It's official! I'm getting in to vancouver on august 4th. We've scrapped the whole living in victoria for a few month idea, and are just going straight for home. It'll be nice to be back. But oh so stressful getting ready to go! It's so fucking hot here, that doing anything apart from sitting will make buckets of sweat pour off you. And since it's humid and usually above body temperature with humidity, it's difficult to cool down. What I really need is an air conditioner.... Ah, conditioned air; how useful you are to a society consumed with lust for their own comfort.
I finally saw the new star wars... I feel bad for darthy... this movie made me cry... I still don't feel the need to see the second one, but I do want to see the first batch again.
fantastic four was also pretty entertaining...
The devils rejects is coming out friday... I expect it to be better than 1000 corpses. Rob Zombie better not let me down!

I'm hopin Rejects is good also. Looks like it will be. and Fan Four was definately a fun movie plus it was shot here so thats always cool.
