Nice reflective journal, it sounds like you came out the best in the end. Thinking of road trips I had started learning to drive a couple of years ago but I never finished or took my test. My family and I drove around some parts of Scotland I hadn't been to yet this summer and it really made me want to finish. There is no need for me to have a car but to be able to drive and hire a car sometimes would be great, there's so much to see just on this little island and the freedom of driving around it would be wonderful I think.
