Delivering pizza in the rain sucks. Especially when people don't tip. mad

I can't believe they did that to Laocoon in "Troy!" That's even worse than leaving out the gods. I haven't seen it yet. I want to wait until the theaters are less crowded so that my running commentary won't disturb people.

Yeah, the 1,000 monkeys at 1,000 typewriters thing is pretty much what I had in mind w/ the picture. Gives me hope that maybe, just maybe, I'll write something good one day.
stavrogin:
Yup. My friends gave me the nickname. One of my other nicknames is "The Great Slash-tu-Bitch".

it's called dogrun, by arthur nersesian. he's brilliant, and i'd suggest any of his books, they're fast reads, and amazing literature.
stavrogin:
Harold and Maude, eh? Cure fan?

I like your favorite books. Dostoyevski, Tolstoy, Nabokov, et all. Have you tried Saramago?
speedphreak:
stavrogin:
Jose Saramago. Try out "All The Names". One of my favorite books, along with Ada by Nabokov. Saramago won a pulitzer for "Blindness".

Harold and Maude is great. I love the faux suicide scene with the car. The movie is really big in Cure circles because of one of their songs.

"The Great Slash-tu-Bitch" is from Naked Lunch by William S. Burroughs. In the Steely Dan scene, iirc.
