way too much detail? nah... no such thing. you might provide more detail than is feasible for a tattoo, but you can never provide too much info or detail for a tattoo artist (I think... at least you're not handing him the original and saying "yeah... just the buddha and the deities, but can you anime and punkify it for me as well?")
I'm no longer coloured curious, as I've moved onto being coloured intrigued...
definitely looking forward to seeing this once it's done, although ever since you said 'punkified', I've had this image of bhudda with a spiky mohawk...
