don't assume that pursuing rape charges is a walk in the park for the girl, though. i'm trained in rape counseling and workshop coaching and it is hell to go through that.
also, i don't know the laws in CA, but in ohio if the girl is drunk, it is rape. especially since she doesn't sound like she remembers it but he does.
not that your friend is a bad guy or a rapist. the situation just sounds like it sucks for everyone. i hope it all turns out okay in the end for everyone.
yeah, it's one of those double standard laws. but like i said, not a whole lot of people file frivolous rape charges just because they were drunk and regretted it, simply because it's so hard to actually go through the motions. the rape kit is really nothing short of humiliating, not to mention that all your sexual activities will pretty much be made public. but you're right, it isn't fair that a guy can get drunk and it isn't rape but a girl can. i suppose they base all that on statistics, but still. it's just a good piece of information to know in case the you're sober and the object of your lust is drunk, i suppose.

I hate it when people acuse other people and many times sent them to jail and ruin their life just caus they need some extra bucks and thats the easy way to get them. I hope that girl stays at 200 pounts and never gets thiner
