What I am thankful for this Thanksgiving:
I am thankful to be alive. Today, I was released from a week stay in the hospital as a result of another massive infection. I've have never experienced such pain in my entire life. Morphine barely took the edge off, and added to my misery by making me violently ill. Because I was insistent on being home for the holiday, they inserted a catheter through a vein in arm into my chest, so I can do my own IVs at home. I plan on taking some cool pictures when I'm strong enough to stand for any given time. I was also able to eat for the first time in a week today. I am pretty thankful for that. Cut up melon. I've never had anything so sweet. I am thankful for Sevi, who never left my side, even though he hates hospitals, has a fear of needles, and gets woozy at the sight of blood. He smuggled me in sodas and didn't laugh when I didn't make any sense. He truly is my best friend in the whole wide world. I don't know when I might be able to write again, so I apologize if I owe you an email or a comment or anything. Hope everyone has a good Turkey Day and make sure to count your blessings. Sorry if this didn't make much sense.

oh btw, did you still want those shoes? I just wanted to know since I was planning on listing them on Ebay again and they'll definitely sell this time.
I'm glad that you were able to come home for the holidays, though. That is always a plus.
At least you have a partner to confide in. Talking to my parents gets old quickly.
