I wanted to take a minute to share what “babes support babes” or “girl power” means to me.
To me, this is the ability to support each other regardless of physical appearance. Size, color, shape, stretch marks or not- should not be a factor when you are part of a movement that is meant to empower women and help them to feel confident. To me “girl power” means supporting ALL women, not just SOME select few. Confidence is admirable, period. Cockiness is not.
Us ladies are here for the same reasons, to feel loved and appreciated in our own skin with the ability to express ourselves how we want to. I would hope that we are all here to build each other up instead of trying to break each other down or use each other to some advantage. Whereas I personally like to spoil someone (when I can) with a wishlist gift, a tip, buying content or other creative things, I don’t think this should be an expectation for making friends or discrediting other forms of support when money is not involved. Support comes in many other ways that do not require money.
In this community, I really feel that there is no room for selfishness. Yes, we need to take care of our own but I genuinely want to see other people succeed too. I get super fucking excited when I see all these beautiful ladies who have worked hard, go pink! Everyone has beauty to contribute here. My love and support goes out to all of you 💖
