I was starting to wonder, jesus... Work is kinda like that, they'll consider you screwable until you prove otherwise. For example, if the boss asks you to fill in, say no, even if you don't have anything better to do, its just to prove the point that you're not there for people to walk on. If you're gonna quit anyways, and would like to stay if you had the right hours. Talk to the boss, say you told them what hours you needed to have and if they don't fix it they'll just have to fire you because you're not working the days you can't. You have nothing to lose. Even if you used them later as a reference, a) they're not allowed to talk about how you performed at work, just your personality. b) they likely won't even remember you because Walmart has such a HUGE turnover rate. They'll just say something like "Oh, Dain... Yeah. Good kid..." and make up some BS.
If by some small chance my suggestion backfires, at least if you do get fired you could get unemployment benefits
