hmm, things seems a little different. this happened a few days ago, then my internet went on the fritz, so now im just getting used to manuevering around here. so far, so good, looks cool.
anywho, no go on either of the band auditions. the guy said i was close and did pretty well for the one, the blue-rock cover band, but there was one guy better. i can live with it, as i was not totally into the music, and they practiced all way in fucking wauconda, so even i did get the gig, i wasnt sure i really wanted it. the other band of all original music didnt calle me back, but i can understand, as my tryout kinda sucked. its difficult trying to sing to original music that has no lyrics or vocals pattern set up. i had to do it on the fly, on the spot. some of it was good, most was crap. ill keep trying, still many options out there. i keep checking chicago reader and illinois entertainer, i contacted 3 more bands today, we'll see
other than that, nothing really new and exciting i dont think. looking foward to hanging out with my friend who moved to LA at the end of this month. also going to hang with oak out there. he's always a good guy to drink with. never been out there. ive been to cali, but modesto, san fran, and san diego. I'll see if this LA is anything its cracked up to be. ok, later for now.

and yeah, there's not many reasons to turn down a trip to the strip club where someone else is paying.
