As for being embarrassed, Dads often put their feet in it, they're just not as sensitive...being men and all lol.
You sound like you've got a plan with registering for school and such so he can't complain, especially if you were only trying to be a little more independent and sort out the money issues for yourself. Surely that's what all parents want
My mom was like that when I was waiting tables, "You ought to use that degree you have." Ugh it annoyed me greatly. It's nice that your parents want to help though.

That Jackson Rathbone should go back to his sparkly vampires. There's no way he could be Sokka. Sokka is my favorite character and I hate how royally this movie will get fucked up.
