I'm really sorry this went south. I'm very much of the opinion that you deserve a wonderful life, so a pox on those scoundrels who tried to trick you. When you stop to consider how far you push every boundary to accomplish extraordinary things, you're going to encounter some broken people who want to abuse others because it makes them feel superior and puts money in their pockets. Think of them as colds and flu, bringing nothing of value to the world, just misery. The worst luck is theirs for never knowing what it is to be fully human. ❤️
I have missed out on what looked to be great opportunities many time only to find out months later what a bullet I dodged. I hope you get everything resettled and find a new/better opportunity in the future
