@calx the hiking photos are from an area called The Wave, in Page AZ! I think a lot of that kind of geology translates well into stylized art designs...I have a friend who does print making and has made some cool prints based on similar formations!

I'm so delighted that things are going so well. About the shingles, there was a small study done about 30 years ago in which a very common, over the counter antacid was used to stop the shingles in its tracks. I don't recall if it was Ranitidine or another one. It worked well but a bigger study was never done, perhaps because there was no profit potential in an old medication soon to come out of patent protection if it wasn't already. I found it when I got shingles at least five years ago and it did work work for me so I have virtually no scarring and the pain was minimal. Unfortunately it still requires a prescription in Canada so I ran out after a week and the symptoms returned a bit before I got it renewed. Find the study and get this stuff. If it's too late, you're still taking no risk by trying it.

I hear shingles is terrible. My doc recommended a vaccine in my mid-40s. Side effects were as bad or possibly worse than the Moderna covid vaccine, but I hope it protects me. Congrats on the apprenticeship going well. Cute kids. Wishing you the best. <3
