And I'm not too mature for nobody. Er, yeah. Actually, I was suprised a while back when I discovered that I've completely outgrown chat rooms. I went into a bunch of them and couldn't even understand most of the words that the kids were writing. So, maybe I am maturing. Scary thought.
I'm not entirely sure Elis's goal was to make the icky parts of the book appealing by wedging them between very sexual parts. I think it had more to do with show that the innocuous things going on were just as contemtable as the torture and murder. Two different readings. Both are probably valid.

I would reccommend two Ybor City clubs: The Castle on 8th Avenue next to Hillsbororugh Community Collge or behind Centro Ybor. Monday is 80's video night and the rest is industrial and indie rock. Great downstairs bar with a river running through it.
Also, try the Fly Trap on 7th Avenue. I forgot what corner its on but its a small but ecclectic joint with bathtub couches and lot of she-she action.
