Hehhee! Beanbags Oh, I wish I had one for Kinny to play in. He would love it!
Good to get goals re-evaluated and into perspective. I guess in a way Ive been doing the same.
The 5% to charity things pretty awesome. Why donate to a charity that most people donate to? Or is that a sp thing? And why international? I personally have the view that if/when I donate to charity, its an org that isnt in the spot light so much. Where the donation really means something. Eg: why donate to the cancer foundation when it is NOT the biggest issue we have in this world? (I know things arnt black and white but in the bigger scheme of things, its a view I have, but also struggle with....) I have the view that there are more important orgs in which to assist. If I had to choose one, it would be a local org working with homeless men. We have services for women and children regarding accommodation, but because in dire situations such as homelessness, men are stereotyped as being abusive and sex offenders. Therefore, no or lack of services. Ive worked in the situation before where I have had to explain to homeless men this situation, and how I cant help them, because the services just arnt avalible. Its heartbreaking.
lol /Rant. I guess, my main point. Go for something where you think some real good can possibly be achieved.
Hobbies I have (I guess): art/ painting mainly, bushwalking/hiking, cycling....I dunno. I guess I do other things regularly, but dont really concider the hobbies.
I agree with you about charties for men... and your views about that.
The reason it has to be international, is so I can put a banner at the bottom of the main page, so people can support it directly as well. If it's a charity that only supports people in Australia for example, then someone from America or Europe is unlikely to support the charity and have an added incentive to support the site.
But I couldn't agree with you more, about the other points.
