Ew!  When I was very small, maybe 4 or 5 years old, I remember going into my grandparents utility room.  Grandma had dried chicken feet hanging on the wall above the chest freezer.  Kind of freaked me out.  We had chickens at home.  We raised and butchered our own chickens, rabbits, pigs and cattle.  But, we didn't literally have body parts hanging around in the house.  When I took Mom in there to show her, she said Grandma saved them for making soup.  Yeah . . . still freaked me out.  That memory would make it pretty hard for me to enjoy trying chicken feet.

I love chicken's feet and I have not had them in years
nanette:
@glass42 so you’re “eww” doesn’t count since you haven't tried it yet. 😛
nanette:
@littlejohn22 I had them about 2 weeks ago, but only because it was en route to our home after visiting family. We never go since the toll is like $15 making the meal a bit costly.
chefdaddy:
I think I could like chicken feet except every place i've had them uses 5 spice on them and I don't like 5 spice.
nanette:
I hate when I can smell 5 spice, I feel like it’s such a cheat for me @chefdaddy

I think it should half count as it has a basis in childhood trauma.  On the other hand, I have no defense for my "ew!" regarding fried pig eyes.  I have not tried them and I cannot blame my reaction on any personal experience.  I don't even know if, when cooked, they are recognizable as eyes.  It just sounds gross.
