yep it's not. and i don't know what to do except get new software so i'm trying to figure out what is good. right now the image is 768 x 1024 pixels and 124Kb.
Try lowering the picture quality a notch or two. Most programs default to the highest quality setting. A small increase is practically unnoticeable but makes a huge difference in file size.
