i'm terrible with late papers..i think i've told you...but i never ask for extensions..though i usually let my ta's know that i will be handing stuff in late so they don't wonder why they are short a few papers, and make arrangements for submitting them. and i never treat my tas like crap, which i see way too many people do and i think is outrageous.
I've been guilty of handing in things late before... usually in CS if it's late we get a 0 though.
I'm pretty sure there's been instances where i've wanted to hug profs or ta's and other times i've wanted to stab them. I'll sit on the fence here haha.
I think stabbing is against the TA's code. It reduces the number of paying students. Just give them a very nasty look and a slow head shake. Then call on them a lot.

i know all about your late papers statement when i T.A.at my ol school, i have to grade these f'in high college level papers, an when htere turned in super late that just makes have to reevaluate an blah blahb lah..its ux. i understand how my teachers felt now. an thats why if its late you cant get anything better tehn a B.
