Thanks, Mya! I knew you would be able to help. I was going to send you a message, but you beat me to it. I've been to the Harvey Milk website and it looks like a fantastic project. I wish we had something like that in Chicago! I think I am going to try and contact someone there for an interview. I've only got three weeks for this project, so unfortunately I can't delve into it as much as I'd like, but I really appreaciate your comments!
Mr.Peterson can actually bend the 5/16" steel rod. With his face. I couldn't bend those bars if I had been kidnapped and was in a mortally dangerous sitaution. But he can bend them, and all he does when he's out is lay on the bed. Sigh.
We are about to build a crate that's wood and 1/2" metal bars. It's modelled after like, wild animal transport crates. Ha.
