Everyone should see Sharkwater. It was a wonderful, yet depressing documentary about how we humans are destroying ourselves by destroying the planet around us.
If you know me, you know that I have little to no faith in humankind. I know that we are ignorant, bald apes with a God complex and a giant sense of entitlement. The movie left me feeling even more sure of this.
Even with all of the harshness of reality it displayed, the images of the lives that we are destroying every second of everyday were beautiful and breathtaking.
I am a cynic. I have a strong dislike for most people and their actions. I am hard and harsh and rigid. People often think I'm hard to take and I don't care. I am concerned about bigger things. I use my compassion and sympathy on those creatures that truly need and deserve it.

I Just May Checkout Shark Water.
I am reading a fascinating book: The World Without US. It is a very comprehensive look at what would happen if people just disappeared off the face of the planet. Sadly, we fucked things up to a point where it would get a lot worse before it got better. Anyway, it's a great read, I got my copy for about $15 on Amazon.
