Nice to hear from you. I was just thinking today that it had been a while.
kiss

Unfortunately I'm not one for ideas on a good bachelorette party, go figure.
wink

Rise is a top 5 all time, no question.
I could dress as Robert Smith and strip, but not if I have to go to Schamburg.
kealli:
ugh, hope you feel better. smile

does she go to clubs or bars? get a limo for all the girls and hit the bars.. even though she is goth. she has to wear something to stand out.. maybe a black veil. get hotel rooms for the girls.. someplace nice.. maybe somewhere that can offer spa treatments for earlier in the day.. or the day after. .. stripper? (female or male..) strip club?

there is also the Baton Show Lounge. cabaret drag show and bar. fun for bachelorette parties. i almost went to one there.. i think they do group sales.

edit: here is their website: http://www.thebatonshowlounge.com/

I'm not sure everyone shares your sentiment about my journal topics, but that's how cool the babies are.

Coach McGurk. how cool is that.

cat:
that's a fantastic thiing to notice. wink
signalnoise:
hope your cold feels better. the wife & i were both down around thanksgiving. no fun tongue

how goes the party planning? i've never planned anything like that either. i'm sure i'd be terrible at it. (irony of ironies: i'm now a member of the poli sci grad student association - which is ostensibly a "social chair" post - making me one of the folks in charge of planning parties..hmmm...).

actually we're on the quarter system here too. but we start late (like october), and only get 3 weeks for winter break. it's kinda weird. i have a friend at u-denver, and she has quarters like depaul: out from thanksgiving to new year. but i kind of like the way we do it here - you get used to it, and you get a HUGE summer break.
kealli:
hehe yeah i've seen that episode. quite funny.
