I started having a problem with my piercing at work this weekend, and wasn't in a place where I could get a second opinion. The barbell twisted in it, and whenever I would straighten it out like normal, it would immediately go back to that position. There was no pain involved, so I wasn't too worried.
Well, I got home, showed my wife, and I guess because I looked at it so often(whenever I used the bathroom I check it to make sure everything looks okay) I didn't notice that the barbell was showing a lot more than it had been. My body was rejecting the piercing.
So I took it out, and it should heal back to normal. It makes me sad, I really liked that piercing, and wish I could have kept it, but I'd rather lose it than try to keep it and cause some serious damage down there.
Bleh, that does not put me in a good mood.

After i took it out last night I took another look at it, and I could actually see where the piercing was originally made and where it is now. Surgical steel can be rejected, and not just in surface piercings. It's less likely, but it still happens, and it really is just my luck that it happened.
