Things have been looking up but so so crazy, it was bound to have a wrench thrown in sometime. My stepfather was taken by ambulance to the hospital on Tues with suspicion of a heart attack. They couldn't find for sure if he had one but knew there had to be blockage to cause all the pain he was having. They transfered him to another hospital on Wed to have a "Cath" put in to open up the blockage, while in there they found the blockage to be worse then they thought and if he hadn't of came to the hospital when he did he really would of suffered a fatal massive heart attack. They are doing either a double or triple bypass surgery today, they won't know which one until they have him open. He is not in the best of conditions going into this surgery, he has already 2 "stints" and a pacemaker put in and he has Leukemia, which he got from Vietnam, Agent Orange, on top of it. He has abused his body through the years and it is all catching up with him. My mom just found out a year ago that she has suddenly developed Epilepsy and she hasn't been allowed to drive since. They will only give her license back when she has been seizure free for 6 mons straight, they are still trying to keep the seizures under control with meds. Now my stepfather won't be able to drive for about 6-8 weeks. A year privious to all of this my parents decided to buy a house in the mountains, going from a 10 min drive away from me to 45 min. I guess she has some friends that are goin to help them get around since I am so far away and have a completely full schedule. This couldn't have happened at the worst time and I'm worried about my mother.
