Hmm... you know, I don't know why they did that. I actually never went to the club back when it was Barberella's, but I hear it was much cooler than it is now.

I understand the the back area is now part of the Eye-Spy bar, which I also haven't been to. When the current owner, John, bought out the clubs along that row (Sapphire Supper Club, Barbarella's, etc.) he changed everything for some reason. Seems kinda silly considering how popular Barb's was.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Jon Morris' new Goth/Fetish night at Firestone turns out. It has a lot of potential. Plus, one day The Asylum might actually open as well.

PS - I goof off all day already! That's how Gothic Orlando came to be. shocked

lol
flb0y:
when's the goth night at firestone?
mogwai72:
Beyond Oblivion begins at Firestone on Tuesday, December 2nd. Go here for more information: http://www.oblivionentertainmentinc.com/tues.html

flb0y:
man, you ain't cheered up yet?
anger:
Isn't pissing and moaning great?! If it wasn't for that, all this bad luck of mine would be wasted.
mogwai72:
Me? Cheer up? Not freakin' likely... frown

Actually, if you ever meet me in person I'm usually pretty perky. Just when I start spilling my guts on a journal it gets all depressing.

Not that things don't still suck. tongue
