In San Francisco i ran with a crew of photographers led by a good friend of mine who mentored me while acting as his assistant and helped me develop in to the photographer i am today.
during our shoots..i would shoot him and he would shoot out takes of me.
He pushed many around him to think outside the box in their work...and more importantly inspired those around him to be better people.

Sunday morning....his brother in law also a member of our pack calls to tell me that he had passed away saturday night during a photoshoot....
I wish i were there in his final moment..i cant help to think that maybe i couldve done something and he would still be here..

Im gonna miss you ollie...youre my brotha from another motha...thanks for being there whenever i needed you..you were always there to pick me up and lend me a hand....
i'll drink my coffee at the coffee shop and know ur still there in spirit.
