Yeah, those two things will hopefully help me move out. All I wanted to do after the retarded day I had at work was come home and crash in my chair. Of course since my mom was off yesterday, all my stuff was moved around, including a bunch of junk in my chair. I don't know why, but I hate when people move my stuff.
I am seeing what happens with this job offer. If it falls through, I might apply at Comcast. If that doesn't work either, I'm going to send an e-mail that basically says "If I am going to continue to work here, I need a raise." If they say no, I'm going to keep sending out resumes. Depending on how irritataing the job is at that point, I may or may not put in a two week notice when something else comes along.
It wasn't much better here: Tennessee, who had been outscored by LSU 21-0 in the first half, outscored the home-standing Tigers 23-3 after halftime to claim a 30-27 victory in front of 91,986 stunned fans.
Our first home game, a month late due to the hurricanes and we blow it.
sorry about your Steelers. i thought for sure they were going to win. what a bad beat. and needless to say, my beloved Saints... are 1-2. at least we won our division game.
i knew the vikes were going to win, too. i wish we didn't have to play them coming off of two losses... i think if they weren't in such a "need to win" situation, we could have beaten that team. they're definitely not play-off caliber this year.
So how's the preggie-ness going? Did I tell you my best friend found out she was pregnant too? She and her husband had been trying for like two years....I think I did, but my memory lately....I got off my prozac and my seriously increasing stress levels are killing my brain cells I do believe.....
Yeah, this is the second one he's passed in the past year and a half...this time wasn't nearly as bad as the last time although he did throw up twice from pain while we were waiting in the ER, but the LAST time...oh dear god it was horrible! He was screaming and when I say screaming I mean we had to move him into this room right off the ER waiting room..they didn't have any rooms available in the ER and they couldn't give him anything for pain so I was going back and forth from the bathroom to this little room with hot wet paper towels from the bathroom to try to ease the pain a little (they couldn't even give him a hot pack until a dr saw him!)...the pain was so bad that time he coulnd't even walk...they had to put him in a wheelchair...he was crying and I was crying...it was so bad I actually cried...sigh....this time they got him back before it got that far though...plus it was a different kidney and they say they get worse and worse with each passing...but since it was the first one from that particular kidney...who knows...
DOOD!
i used to do fantasy football at my old company and every year, for 3 straight years, i lost in the superbowl.
in fact, one year, i lost the superbowl by 6 points without a QB both my qbs were put on injury reserve after our pickup deadline, and i only lost by 6 FRICKIN POINTS!
Yeah, Chad Johnson is one of the biggest talkers in the league, isn't he? He *is* a pretty good receiver, but trash-talking isn't something that should come too naturally to a Bengal. So far, anyway...
Fantasy football is a weird entity. Change happens so often and the year-to-year performances vary immensely. That said, Manning, at least, will be fine in time. He still might not beat the Patriots, but he'll put up TDs aplenty.
i've never met anyone with the name tripp...but i've started to picture a older dad driving a woody with his kids singing in the backseat..and they are going camping. his wife is laughing about something cheesey he said and says 'OH...tripp!" hahaha
I had a call about a job, and found out that my tuition payments might be done with, but the day was so bad that those two things didn't help at all.
