I always have the same problems!! My currently new friend group is friends with known ex boyfriend and his brother. So I never stop having to hear about things I don't want to hear about if I continue to spend time with these people. Ahhh late summer dilemnas! *hugs*

I'd say go to the party because you aren't in control of anything that anyone else does, just of what you do and how you react. In terms of anything else... man, I don't know what to say cause I'm kinda at the end of the same situation with an ex and no matter what I tried to do things went down in a fiery ball of hell... so I just stopped trying. I wish I could be of more help...
