Well, in the last two days Ive been reading your comments and messages and thinking and I think I came up with the answer.
I think that being all bent out of shape about friends who you grow apart from isnt worth the time invested in it. People grow, and change and the people who are the real cool ones will be there in the end because you will grow and change together. And those who dont grow with you will hopefully find the people they will grow with.
I have some really kick ass friends. Ive been really blessed.
You guys are absolutely wonderful! I love you all very much! Youve really made my life much richer by knowing each and every one of you!
I also have some really great non-SG friends. Friends who have been there since high school, who know more of my history than Id like them too sometimes
And whilst Im at it, Id like to give a special shout-out to my best friend who has put up with soooo much of my BS over the years and continues to stick by my side, through thick and thin. I love you!
On a different note I had a really great shift at BPs tonight!
It was my first shadow shift and I was lucky enough to shadow one of my friends who works there. It was awesome. I was so nervous at first bcuz Ive never done serving before and I wasnt sure if Id be any good at it. Ill defiantly have to work on my memorization of orders but beyond that I think I was doing quite well for it being my first time ever!
Everyone I worked with tonight was awesome. I like the friendships that are forming there already, as well as the friends I already had there.
That makes it a ton easier right there.
I think the change to serving will be a good one. I really like Source, but I could tell that the vibe that is there was getting to me. Most of the guys that pass through there have this certain vibe they give off. I dont know how to explain it beyond a mix of creepy/horny and desperate. But it just generally makes one uneasy. If I had no customers Id be perfect because I love the rest of the job. Its wonderful.
The BPs job will be good for me though cuz everyone there is so happy and upbeat and there is no Im a horny old man looking at barely legal porno bad vibes goin round. (Not yet at least.
)
