When Christa was having issues with Student loans we just phoned our MLA and told them what was going on and told them how the situation was. She had applied in july and it was the december and she still didnt have her money and they kept making exscuses. We called our MLA and they totally took care of it. She had money in like less and a week.
And plus I called student loans and threatend that seek legal action on behalf of her.

The only actual birthday plans that I have right now are to just get absolutly faced, but the goal is to have as many people as possible attend so I dont actually know where and or what is going on, the plans are still in the oven. I shall let you know as soon as they hatch! Whatever they be, Im sure they shall be a blast, after all your gona be there.

I didn't even finish high school
just because I knew what I wanted to do in life didn't need it, and I could do better by going and making money instead of being in school, so that I go further in school and get in debt instead of making cash.

but uhhh, so, you bring the camera, I'll bring the baldness, haha.

Student loans and classes are why I didn't go to college. That and I would probably have been kicked out for questioning the instructors too much. biggrin kiss

Good job on the MP letter! threaten to move unless he personally pays for your school! Mark Emery will not die, no way Canada will let THAT shit happen.... but then again, I thought there was no way they would let the DEA come in and arrest a man for something that is legal in Canada, let alone extradite him like a sum type of warlord!!! Just hope the conservatives don't get in power or they just might cooperate in hopes for a pat on the back.
And I'm completely down for an SG get together for the weekend, at least me and you'll be there.. and that spells party already! I'll bring my bald head for luck

"and what was all that winking and nudgeing about?
i don't understand sir...
you'll have to show me what you mean."

Oh that's just my tourrettes acting up again tongue

AND as much as Marc Emery is beloved amongst 99.9999% of all pot smokers, I'm gonna have to go against the grain and say ... he's not helping fight the war on personal freedom, at all.

Some people say he's a hero, some say he's a leader, some say he's a spokesperson, some say he's 'sticken it to the man', some say he's courageous, yadda yadda yadda. I say he's an idiot.

Whether or not you agree with the drug laws in Canada and the United States (or around the world for that matter - and I definitely do not), not only did he break the laws, he travelled across the continent -blantantly- on camera, infront of policemen and politicians, broke the law. Now call me crazy but if you're trying change the way in which society works, wouldn't it be a little more effective to send a positive message to the rest of society by working -within- the framework of society instead of reinforcing stereotypes by portraying the image of a pot-smoking criminal?

I think most educated citizens of society who have used drugs before are well aware that the majority of the health risks the government claims are a result of drug use are unfounded, and nothing more than republican propoganda. There are hundrends of scientific studies that go against everything those anti-drug commercials tell you. People need to be educated, and as we continue to prove the false claims that our predecessors have used against our personal freedom, the global census will change. Sooner or later, as our generation takes over as leaders of the world, the drug laws will disappear.

What we DONT need is some dumbass making the cause of legalization look bad by going on camera and breaking the fucking law. I realize the amount of money he has donated to the various organizations and charities and for that I commend him, but he should have stuck to that. No amount of charitable donations and contributions to positive social organizations is going to give him legal immunity.

Wow this is long.. I get carried away sometimes. You're going to have to ignore the spelling / grammar errors because I've already wasted too much on my life on this douche. Does he deserve to DIE for selling seeds? Fuck no. Does the US have the right to extradite him? I really don't think so, and Paul Martin is a douche for doing nothing about it. However, the bottom line is he broke the law and now he's in jail. Duh, that's what happens.

Well he was on the news in just about every major city across Canada smoking joints infront of everybody... I tried reading the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act to find out whether or not that *is* a punishable offense, but I can't seem to find anything. So either I'm wrong, or I can't understand how to read it. Either way, I'm probably an idiot.

But I agree with you on the peaceful protesting point. He *has* done some good things, but to see a so called 'revolutionary' of the legalization of drugs being escorted away in handcuffs only strengthens the ignorant stereotypes that some people have against drug users and pot smokers alike.

Think about how many people in this country smoke pot or do drugs.... alot. While I've never had the balls to thoroughly test out this theory, for the most part I think the police in this country turn the other cheek. You don't hear about very many drug busts in Canada besides major major grow operations and clandestine labs for shit drugs like meth. So I dunno... I really don't think it was necessary for someone to go around smoking joints infront of people because everyone is doing it anyway. So the 'leader' of the movement is now in jail, but we're still smoking pot like we always have been.

It's well known that the US government doesn't like the fact that we're loosening our drug laws, so even I don't think it's right at all, to me it really comes as no surprise that the DEA is poking their nose into our business.
