I feel kind of sad...I feel like I'm wasting my life.
I just get older and I haven't done anything to be proud of.
In high school I was a good athlete-
That caused problems. My father taught me baseball. I'm glad I excelled to a high level.
I look back and think that was our only connection.
As a young boy...I didn't have too much of an opportunity to do anything else. Besides...I liked to play sports. The years rolled on and I began to find other kids had different relaionships with their father. Even their life at home appeared drastically different from mine.
It's not that my life felt better or worse...it just happened to be different.
My father is OLD SCHOOL JAPANESE=so he ruled my house with an IRON FIST.
There were rules to follow...and if I fell short...I learned not to do that again.
My father always provided me with whatever I needed. I didn't always get what I wanted, but I had what I needed. A good meal to eat, a warm bed to sleep in and clothes on my shoulders.
My mom loved me unconditionally. After all I was the #1 son...the only son.
