Lost Highway, a David Lynch film. It is not out on DVD so you need to find the vidio. This is a must see film.
Blue Velvet, also a David Lynch film, this one is out on DVD. You MUST see this one, it starts out slow but has parts that will blow your mind.
logan's run! i bet you'd like it. soylent green is slow, but also pretty cool. oh yeah, and definitely the god of cookery. that is one of the coolest movies EVER. if i had to describe it, i would call it iron chef on lsd.
have you ever read the blade runner book (do androids dream of electric sheep)? i thought it was way better than the movie because the movie left out some rather significant details...
"requiem for a dream"
"donnie darko"
"adaptation"
"fight club"
kirawasawa's "dreams"
"momento"
"nightmare before christmas"
"edward scissor hands"
and about a million others i cant name right now.
Well if you haven't already seen them, Training Day, the Usual Suspects, Seven, Bulworth, and if it's Sci-Fi you're going for, 12 Monkeys. I'm sure my tastes will get more odd as I go; I'm doing the video club guru thing here...
Dr. Strangelove, A Clockwork Orange, Full metal jacket and The Pianist .
Actually why don't you just read instead go read all the books of Phil K. Dick he wrote the book that Blade Runner is based on. I would suggest "A Scanner Darkly", "Man in the High Castle", and just about anything else.
