I actually just finished Fight Club, which I had held off on so that it wouldn't be tainted by the film. Of course the film has such a strong voice that the book was tainted anyway, but after a few chapters I could at least see what was making the book special in the literary field.

Some people say his other books aren't as good. Are they? Recommendations?
