Hello Friends!
I hope that life is treating you kindly and you are finding beauty in each day. I wanted to take a second to thank you ALL of you for being a part of something that has literally changed the life of tens of thousands of women around the world. It would not have happened without each and every one of you. I thought I would share 3 of the literary thousands of messages I have received over the past 21 years.
The Suicide Girls website is an amazing community and I have amazing friends because that.. Thank you for showing me in these 4 years that I'm with you that I'm beautiful the way I am. I went through some bad times but you show me how strong and empowered I am. these 4 years that I'm with you, even being hopeful, was the best of my life, I traveled to other states and met many incredible people. Thank you so much!
Thank you for all you do and have done. I literally found my tribe because of this community and am thankful to have all these wonderful souls in my life. I am no longer the oddball but one of many beautiful and unique individuals <3
I'm grateful every single day for this community and little home that you started all those years ago. I vividly remember those times throughout my life where I didn't feel safe or accepted; from being called racial slurs, to feeling like the clothes I wore or the music I listened to made me the black sheep of the family...I never thought there'd be a place that felt safe and SG has definitely been that for me.
I am sao proud and humbled by the incredible members that have shared so much of themselves and their passions to make us what we are today. I can not thank you enough, seriously, there are no words to express my gratitude.
Here are a few members, but certainly not even close to all who have gone above and beyond to make this a special place, who have always held space for everyone to be themselves, are endlessly supportive and speak their mind but do so with kindness, celebrates the unique.
