Katrina Relief Event
Sorry so last minute, but I know many members, like MotherTeresa, are looking to help in any way they can to support the victims in the quake of this devastating natural disaster.
I am a server at the Hard Rock Caf Orlando in Universals CityWalk. Hard Rock Inc, if you havent heard, is throwing a concert event on Tuesday, September 6th @ the Hard Rock Live (our concert venue) to benefit the people in need. Velvet Revolver was scheduled to open the new Biloxi Hard Rock Caf, Casino, & Hotel. Of course now this isnt possible because of all the damage done to our gulf coast.
Velvet Revolver & special guest Brian Johnson (lead singer of AC/DC) are volunteering to play at no cost for this event, as well as any and all Hard Rock Staff, including myself. NO ONE IS GETTING PAID TO PERFORM OR WORK THE SHOW! ALL FUNDS, ticket costs, drinks, etc. are ALL going to The Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Hard Rock Incorporated is playing for all expenses.
Please, if you wish to attend & help raise money for all the victims, tickets are on sale through Hard Rock Live box office, Ticket Master, And Hard Rock Live dot Com.

Also, if you do ever stop into the Hard Rock Caf, servers & staff are doing more fundraising in a program called Crank It Up. With this program anytime you eat or buy anything in the caf the server/staff member will ask you if youd like to Crank Up your bill. By cranking your bill up we can either round your bill up to the nearest dollar or add more donation if you please. Yes YOUR donations do help, but as an incentive Hard Rock Inc. is going to match every PENNY donated. Our goal is 1 Million Dollars.
